The study includes holiday leisure and free time resources available to children and young people (under 18) during Christmas 2010 and during Easter and summer 2011.

This is the second study of its kind following the one conducted in 2010 and has been made possible thanks to the cooperation of public entities, such as the three provincial governments, the city councils and municipal associations in the Basque Autonomous Region, and private entities, such as the Savings Banks and leisure and educational associations.

The study includes a range of data broken down by province, the entity responsible for the programme, the type of leisure resource, and so on. 

The holiday leisure and free time resource map is a study conducted by the Basque Youth Observatory with a view to providing the relevant institutions with basic information to plan their activities in this field.
